• Account Information: Email address, if you choose to register. Anonymous use is available without registration.
• Learning Data: Words you save, flashcard decks you create, review history, and spaced repetition progress.
• Usage Data: App interactions, features used, and session duration (collected as anonymized analytics).
• Device Information: Device type, operating system version, app version, and language preference.
• User-Generated Content: Text you input for translation and contact form messages.

3. How We Use Your Information

• Provide and improve the vocabulary learning service
• Sync your learning progress across sessions
• Send contact form responses to you
• Analyze aggregated usage patterns to improve the app (no individual tracking)
• Process payments through App Store / Google Play (we do not store payment information)

4. On-Device Processing

Certain features are processed entirely on your device for your privacy:

• Camera OCR: Text recognition from photos is processed on your device using Google ML Kit. No images are sent to our servers.
• Speech-to-Text: Voice input is processed on your device. No audio recordings are sent to our servers.
• Translation: Translation requests are sent to our servers for processing.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• RevenueCat: Manages subscriptions and in-app purchases. RevenueCat processes purchase tokens, not payment details. RevenueCat Privacy Policy
• Google AdMob: Displays advertisements to free-tier users. Premium users see no ads. AdMob may collect device identifiers for ad personalization. Google Privacy Policy
• Google Analytics: Collects anonymized usage data to help us improve the app.

6. Data Storage and Security

• Your data is stored on secured servers with encryption at rest.
• We use HTTPS encryption for all data transmission between the app and our servers.
• Anonymous users: Data is linked to a session token. No personal information is stored unless you register.
• Registered users: Data is linked to your email address.

7. Data Retention

• Active accounts: Data is retained while your account is active.
• Anonymous sessions: Automatically purged after 90 days of inactivity.
• Deleted accounts: Data is removed within 30 days of an account deletion request.
